To realize Maison Taskin`s vision of a mixed-reality fashion collection we produced a film that presents a hybrid fiction staging physical pieces and their virtual extensions. Our goal was to develop a concept for a radical approach of a dark yet optimistic future vision of an already thoroughly digitized world. With the approach to design 3D assets that show the extensions in a very realistic way, we developed a tracking system to create perfectly matched behaviors between physical and virtual garments. In close collaboration with the fashion designer, we designed and implemented the stylistic and physical features of the digital extensions.

Fashion Designer Taskin Goes bridges the gap between tradition and technology. The result is a collection that exists simultaneously in the different realities of our everyday lives. SPACES OF DESIRE makes this vision tangible on screen. Virtual extensions surround the physical clothing like an aura. What no longer fits into physical reality is simulated digitally.
